Banana Split Sundae Hollywood

Now that I’m starting to grow my LA network and have friends to go out and do stuff out there I’ve been able to slowly check out events that I’ve been interested in. Banana Split Sundae is a Sunday weekly hosted by DJ AM and Steve Aoki with resident DJ Mike B + hand picked special guests.

For a an event that bills itself as “we’re a house party in a club” I was severy disappointed. (Especially because I always say “It’s like a club inside of a house party.” when I have house parties.)  It’s on a Sunday so I wasn’t expecting it to be so Hollywood when I got there but first there’s a seperate door guy who dictates who goes in first.  He even sent me back to my car to take off my coat and hat.  Upon entering there were plenty of people with coats and hats on!  Well at least the music was good.
